The evening was hosted by TV personality, Petra Bagust.

Attendees bid on a silent auction of donated items.

Duncan Goode ran the live auction including a trip for 10 to Bali that went for over $11k.

One hundred and thirty people attended the Fashion for a Cure event.

It was beautiful at the scenic grounds of Rippon, the cocktails flowed, the food was divine and the dresses were super lovely; everyone had a great time.

But, the 130 attendees were there for a reason —  to raise money for Breast Cancer Cure, a research organisation that exists solely for the scientific endeavour to find a cure for cancer.

Their most exciting recent achievement is to develop a blood test which can be taken during a mastectomy to determine whether there is a chance of recurrence. For women who live under an ever-present cloud of fear, this advance is deeply felt.

Money raised on the night came from the auction of many items donated by local businesses, as well as pledges to become patrons of Breast Cancer Cure.
